PRESENT YOUR CAR TO THE ITV (Spanish "MOT")

Here in Spain, you have to take your car to the MOT yourself; they do NOT come to the garage as they do in Germany. You have to make an appointment (very difficult as they are always fully booked) and then drive your car through the MOT test lane yourself on the appointed day and follow the instructions (honking, braking, etc.) – an exciting experience!

I will make the appointment for you, and if you want, I can also accompany you through the inspection line on the day. Allow for waiting time!

This only applies to cars with Spanish license plates, and the intervals are every 2 years if the car is less than 10 years old, and every year thereafter. Unlike in Germany, you can get a ticket here if your TÜV has expired, EVEN IF you can prove that you have an appointment in the near future.
