EXCHANGE OF FOREIGN DRIVING LICENSE FOR A SPANISH ONE

(MANDATORY after 2 years in Spain for European licenses, after 6 months for others)

After 2 years of residence here, you are required by law to exchange your European driver's license for a Spanish one. If you are from outside the EU, you will have to do it after 6 months!

I can take care of this for you at the Trafico (traffic office). I will make an appointment, prepare the documents, and then accompany you there, as you must appear in person with your original driver's license.
